in a Bottle" Mailer

All the rage! Whether you are sending an invitation to a formal
ball, throwing a kid's "pirate party", sending thank you
notes or a "just because" message, your letter will "sail away"
on an ocean of mail and arrive "ship-shape" to the recipient.
What you put inside is up to your imagination: frilly stationary,
boatloads of confetti or a secret surprise. The U.S. Post Office
will accept this eight-inch "Message in a Bottle" as a first-class
mailer, provided an address label is firmly attached to the outside
of the bottle with the required proper postage.* (*Mailing
label, invitation, filler and postage not included; postage
based on weight.) Bottles include 3 self-adhesive, decorative
labels (Congrats, Happy Birthday, Celebrate) which can be discarded,
used to decorate the other side of bottle, or after the bottle
is received by mail, to cover the address label. Throw a BYOB
(bring your own bottle) party with a promise to (re)fill it up
with candy or other small treats of your choice!
The bottom of the fillable favor bottle unscrews to open and close.
Bottle with included decorative label set is 3 oz.
TIPS:
*3 oz. bottle mailer at current postal rates = $1.47 postage (effective
05/07, rates subject to change)
*May wish to secure decorative foil with clear tape before mailing
to prevent tearing.
*Foil color can be reversed--silver under gold (25th wedding anniversaries!)
